Set against the backdrop of a divided Nicosia, a straight comedy satirizes the absurdity that has become part of the daily life of its inhabitants, without trying to solve the Cyprus problem. Comfortable and enjoyable Adam Boussdoucos ("Soul Kitchen") in the title role. Yannis is a washed-up musician. His girlfriend has left him while his "lenders" have become his close corset. He plans to leave with his beloved dog, Jimmy. But when the dog runs away to the occupied territories, John has to deal with a European law that prohibits the passage of animals in free territories. Stranded, he is forced to enlist the help of his ex-girlfriend as well as a Turkish settler to help him get Jimmy away.

The film had its world premiere at Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival, where it won the award for Best International Fiction Film! In Thessaloniki it was one of the three Greek films that participated in the international competition section of the festival, competing for the Golden Alexander - it was eventually awarded a special mention. The film also won the Best Film Award at the Quebec Film Festival in Canada and a special mention at the Palm Springs Festival, one of the largest in the world. Finally, it was awarded the Screenplay Award by the Hellenic Film Academy and was nominated for the five most important categories: Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best New Director, Best New Director, Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Director, Best Screenplay and Best Director.
