The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the author and educator Florentia Kythreotou invites you to the first baking workshop for adults of this trilogy, dedicated to the traditional Easter breads of Cyprus.

Participants will have the opportunity to knead and bake their own Easter pastries, while discovering the history, traditions and customs of our island that accompany these festive creations.

The program includes:

11:00  Meet and great with Florentia Kythreotou

11:15-11:45  Preparation and kneading of Easter pastries with her guidance

11:45 -12:10  Coffee break and tasting of traditional pastries

12:15  Transfer of the dough to Melissa Confectionery ovens for baking

12:40  Presentation: 'Cyprus' Easter Chews' (PPT) by Florentia Kythreotou

13:15-13:30  Pick up our pastries from Melissa Confectionery

Florentia Kythreotou is a writer and wine and gastronomy educator with a wealth of writing and extensive experience in the fields of food, culture and education. She holds the international WSET Level 3 (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) qualification and is a certified trainer by the Human Resources Development Authority (HRD).
