A collected edition of the first ten annual lectures on the history and archaeology of Cyprus, and an extraordinary lecture, all delivered at the Cultural Foundation between 1985 and1994. The collection of eleven texts in a single volume was deemed necessary for two reasons. On the one hand, most of the separate editions have been sold out, and on the other hand the present edition constitutes the scientific record of an established institution which marked the Cultural Foundation’s first decade. This volume brings together an important collection of Cyprological essays, ranging from prehistoric times to the 1821 Greek War of Independence.
