A catalogue of the trees and flora of Cyprus that may be encountered along any roadside. It aims at furnishing a practical and easy-to-use guide for the study of Cyprus nature and in particular that of flowers, affording brief — if basic — information for the wider public and for the alert or otherwise general reader. Flowers of a certain colour can be found on pages of the same colour, where readers will see an illustration of the flower alongside detailed information about the flower. The book contains a glossary, tables with the scientific and common nomenclature of the plants, in English, in the Cypriot dialect and in common Greek, as well as a bibliography.
