Georghios Polyviou Georghiou

In the third publication of this series, Niki Loizidi testifies in her critical appraisal of this major Cypriot artist that it was through Georghiou that Cyprus revealed itself to her. “An authentic and very generous interpretation of the people, nature and culture of Cyprus.” Georghiou’s work is amply illustrated in this edition wherein the reader can visually touch the artist’s creations. The edition is supplemented by rare photographic testimonies of Cyprus by Reno Wideson, a lifelong friend and inspirator of the artist. The friendship between the two men was extremely productive as they were a constant source of inspiration for each other.
