The Rembetiki FaTrias music group, holding true to the transfer of sound and lyrics and following relevant research, presents the work of the greatest Greek songwriter of folk songs, Vasilis Tsitsanis. The composer who single-handedly reversed the marginalization of folk music, placing it in the heart of post-war Greece’s new social reality.

In their song-and-dance show, entitled “Vasilis Tsitsanis – Harama”, FaTrias invite us to have fun and share the songs that paved the way for the Greek music scene’s future.

Among others, the band will play songs from Vasilis Tsitsanis’ eponymous album, “Harama” (“Dawn”), which was recorded in 1980 through an UNESCO initiative at the historic “Harama” in Kesariani, where Tsitsanis performed in the final years of his life.
